Elian Gonzalez (R), the young castaway at the center of a dramatic custody battle across the Florida Straits five years ago, attended the May Day parade next to Cuban President Fidel Castro at Havana's Revolution Square, May 1, 2005. Castro used the traditional May Day mobilization in the Communist nation to press his campaign against the Bush administration for harboring Cuban exiles suspected of terrorism.
