Portrait of the Portuguese bullfighter belonging to the group the "Forcados Amadores de Evora" Goncalo Mira after having confronted a 600 plus kg. bull solely with his body during the Saint Peter's Day commemorative bullfight in Evora. The group had a difficult performance with this particular bull from the breeder "Murteir Grave" due to several members being injured in their first three atttempt to catch the bull in a "Pega". The group had to resort to the older method, known as a "Cernelha", where two "Forcados" try to corner a bull in a surprise method hiding among cows to reach the bull. The blood belongs to the bull.
