Rosa Parks, is helped from a bus during a Martin Luther King Day celebration as shown in this 1995 file photo, in San Antonio, Texas. Parks, whose refusal to give up her bus seat to a white man sparked the modern civil rights movement, died Monday Oct. 24, 2005. She was 92. Parks would become the first woman to lie in honor in the Capitol Rotunda under a Senate-passed resolution.
