Members of the Chinese Armed Police Force escort chained suspects at public trials and sentencing rallies in the city center of Hangzhou, China's eastern Zhejiang Province. 15 suspects, who were said to be involved in car thefts and armed robbery cases, were shown at the rally which attracted more than 1000 onlookers. The viewing of a public sentencing or execution is seen as a kind of education and prevention of crimes in China.
