Grotto in Magao Huang village. Suo Cheng Fa is a migrant worker employed in a private mine in Mongolia. He returned home after the mine collapsed, burying a dozen miners. No help was forthcoiming for the victims 24h after the disaster. According to him, the remaining employees were chased from the mine 24h after the accident and given "hush money". He puchased a motorbike with his windfall. He will not return to the mine, but hopes to find work in another mine. He shared a bedroom with 7 other miners from his village. His wife is suffering from several illnesses and most of his money is paying for medical bills. He returns from the mine after a four-month period where he earns 1600 yuan (400 per month).
