DRC - Elections - Supporters of President Joseph Kabila
Congolese children sit on a wall at an election rally for presidential candidate Joseph Kabila in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Saturday 22 July 2006. The DRC holds its first democratic presidential elections in 46 years on July 30 with a record number of candidates contributing to the world's largest ever ballot. Interim government president Joseph Kabila is the favorite to win the election after he took control of the interim government following the peace deal which ended the bloody 1998-2003 war, which killed an estimated 4 million people.
