Palaestinin leader Mahmud Abbas and Prime Minister Ismail Haniya met for the latest round of talks over a national unity government today as Hamas announced its desire to keep the post of prime minister in any Palestinian government. Talks have been dragging on for weeks in a bid to end a political and economic crisis in the Palestinian territories since Hamas swept to power following a January parliamentary poll.
