Panama - Canal Expansion Referendum Vote -Transport - Politics
A woman votes in a referendum on whether or not to expand the Panama Canal at a cost of some $5.25 billion. The proposed multi-billion-dollar expansion would allow the canal to accommodate what are known as post-Panamax vessels, with a carrying capacity twice that of ships in the Panamax class - currently the largest capable of using the waterway.
