Chile - Former Dictator Augusto Pinochet Dead at 91
epa00883139 The body of former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet Ugarte lies in a coffin at the Military School Bernardo O'Higgins on Monday 11 December 2006. Pinochet, 91, died Sunday at 2:15 p.m. (1715 GMT) in Santiago's Military Hospital, where he had been admitted last weekend after suffering a heart attack and fluid in the lungs, the hospital reported. The Chilean government confirmed on Sunday that former dictator Augusto Pinochet, who died at Santiago's Military Hospital, will not be accorded a state funeral, but the army said he would receive military honors early next week. The mass is programmed for Tuesday at noon, then after the body will be cremated and his ashes will be delivered to his relatives. EPA/Claudio Reyes
