France - Demonstration to Demand the Shutting Down of Guantanamo Prison
Amnesty International activists wear orange jump suits and white masks during a demonstration in Paris in front of the replica of the Statue of Liberty, to demand that the U.S. Navy base in Guantanamo, Cuba, be shut down. Nearly 400 terrorist suspects are held on suspicion of links to al-Qaida or the Taliban at the detention center which has been widely criticized for human rights abuses.
