A display of magnificent and elegant dresses, made entirely from condoms, make up a touring exhibition entitled 'Dress Up Against AIDS' seen here at the Fowler Museum at UCLA in Los Angeles. They are designed and produced by Brazilian artist Adriana Bertini, and are made entirely of condoms rejected by industry quality tests. Bertini seeks to raise awareness of and inspire the use of condoms, the critical vehicle for preventing AIDS. These colourful, sensual clothes are intended to demystify and destigmatize condoms and ?refashion? them as objects associated with pleasure.
