Marchers carry anti-segregation signs furnished by the United Auto Workers (UAW) at the March to Washington. More than 200,000 people participated in the March on Washington demonstrations. The throng marched to the Mall and listened to Civil Rights leaders, clergyman and others addressed the crowd, including Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech.
