"Les Voiles de la Liberte" Tall Sailing Ship Meeting
"Les Voiles de la Liberte", in 1989, is the first edition of International Tall Sailing Ship meeting, created to celebrate the bicentenary of the French Revolution on the River Seine in the French town of Rouen. The first meeting took place from July 9 to July 16, 1989. The success was so grand that the "Seine Parade" has since become a regular meeting, recurring every 4 or 5 years. The "Sagres II", a Portugese three-masted barque (1937).
