Mildred Wiggins of Newark places a red carnation on the wall of names as she touches the name of her niece Danielle McDay during the Essex Remembers ceremony, commemorating the sixth anniversary of September 11th, the day of the horrific terrorist attack on New York's twin towers. McDay was 25 years old when she died, and worked on the 125th floor of the north tower. The ceremony was held at the Eagle Rock Memorial in West Orange.
