South Africa's double-amputee sprinter Oscar Pistorius,before appearing on the Italian television show 'Piazza Grande'. in Rome, Italy. The track and field's governing body ruled that the South African was ineligible to compete at the Olympics or any other sanctioned able-bodied event because his "Cheetah" prosthetic blades give him a technical advantage. He plans to appeal the decision.
