China - Beijing - Inside the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party

Inside the Great Hall of the People, below the hammer and sickle, China's Standing Politburo with the Central Committee of the Communist Party stand at attention for the national anthem during the opening of China's 16th National Congress of the Communist Party. The National Congress of the Communist Party of China is a party congress that is held once every five years. The National Congress is theoretically the highest body within the Communist Party of China. The National CPC Congress should not be confused with the National People's Congress.
