Original caption: While the Drake Passage is typically known as the roughest body of sea in the world, the South Atlantic has claimed more lives and destroyed many more ships. Within this zone point, known as the Antarctic Convergence, a biological barrier where cold polar waters sink beneath the warmer waters of the more temperate zones. You feel the convergence zone in the air around you as the temperature plummets.
