South African Desmond tutu looks at hand grenade at border fence area in West Bank protest village of Billin
epa01838451 South African Nobel peace Prize laureate Desmond Tutu looks at a worn tear gas hand grenade at the security area, filled with razor wire at the Israeli 'security fence' outside the West Bank village of Billin on 27 August 2009. Tutu and the group of eminent global leaders, called The Elders, visited the town known for its protests against Israel building its 'security fence' on Palestinian lands in what they claim is a blatant 'land grab' of their property. Some 18 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces during the protests that have been held here over the past four years. EPA/JIM HOLLANDER
