epa01886281 An Egyptian teacher cleans the hands of a student with an antiseptic solution in a school in Cairo, Egypt on 04 October 2009. Students went back to school after the Egyptian government delayed the opening of state-run and many private school because of the Ramadan month and concerns over the spread of the A H1N1 virus. The four month delay in opening schools is the longest school closure in recent Egyptian history. Egypt has come under criticism for some of its measures in confronting the A H1N1 such as the ordering the slaughter an estimated 300,000 pigs. EPA/KHALED EL-FIQI
