Relief of men performing a ceremonial dance from the Tomb of Kheruef

Detail of a relief from the tomb of Kheruef, called Sena'a, TT 192 in the Tombs of the Royals at Thebes. Two men performing a dance with sticks, imitating a ritual combat. The dance seems to be similar to the dances of the modern Egyptian villages. The dancers wear a belt tied in front with lappets hanging down and a short haircut.
