Detail of a painting from the Tomb of Nebamun and Ipuki, TT 181 in the Tombs of the Nobles at Thebes. Detail of a scene from the tomb of Nebamun. The men depicted in this scene bring the funerary furniture into the tomb. The man in the center carries a tray with two shrines probably containing statuettes which represented one of the most important parts of funerary equipment. The equipment also includes a painted chest and a chair.
