Detail from one of the chairs from tomb KV 46 of Yuya and Tuya, parents of Queen Tiya, wife of King Amenhotep III, in the Valley of the Kings at Luxor. It was made of wood and covered with gold. Here we see figures of the goddess Taweret, who was a protector of women and children, as is the god Bes who is also depicted beside Taweret.
