Glass amuletic figure from tomb of Tutankhamun

Glass amuletic figure from tomb of Tutankhamun

Enigmatic amuletic figure made of blue glass that represents the king squatting with one finger held to his mouth in the traditional gesture of childhood. He wears the blue crown or battle helmet indicating his status as both crown prince and war leader. This amulet maybe associates the king with the child Horus son of Osiris. | Located in: Egyptian Museum, Cairo.
