Detail of triple scarab pectoral from tomb of Tutankhamun
The pendant consists of three lapis lazuli scarab beetles set atop neb baskets inlaid with green feldspar. The two outer scarabs support sun disks made of gold, while the center one holds up a lunar disk and crescent made of electrum, beneath the scarabs lotus flowers and buds inlaid with colored glass, the counterpoise features a male god with uraeus cobra and a djed pillar. | Located in: Egyptian Museum, Cairo.
