Kyrgyzstan - Ethnic Violence Kills Hundreds in Osh
Akhunaf Rakhman, 44, an Uzbek from the Cheryomushki district of Osh, is helped by his wife, Farida, 43. Akhunaf was beaten and stabbed while running with his family from an group of Kyrgyz rioters. Residents of the southern Kyrgyz city of Osh continued to flee Tuesday, as sporadic ethnic violence between the Kyrgyz majority and Uzbek minority ethnic groups continued.
