Sarkozy answered on 19 June 2010 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, a journalist's question on French player Nicolas Anelka's insults to French head coach Raymond Domenech stating that they were 'unacceptable, unacceptable'. Anelka has been dismissed from France's national soccer team after having insulted Domenech, announced the vice president of the FFF Noel Le Graet. 'The decision (to remove Anelka) has just been taken,' Le Graet told French radio station RTL on 19 June 2010. According to French Sports newspaper L'Equipe, Anelka insulted the coach at half time in the locker room during the match played by the team against Mexico in South Africa on 17 June 2010.
