epa02277625 A picture released on 08 August 2010 of a visitor taking the speedslide during a media preview of the new water park at the National Aquatics Center, better known as the Water Cube, in Beijing, China on 07 August 2010. Built alongside the Beijing National Stadium on the Olympic Green for the swimming competitions of the 2008 Summer Olympics, the water cube opens on 08 August 2010 as Asia's largest indoor water park to coincide with the two-year anniversary of the start of the Beijing Olympics. Operators are hoping that the water park with its seven-storey slides, a wave machine, shopping arcades, cafes and performance stages, will pull in new crowds for the venue after it was closed for a 10-month reconstruction.
