Sudan

Sudanese rebels with the Sudanese Liberation Army, SLA, led by Abdul Waheed, patrol the villages of Golol and Kutrum, West Darfur, Sudan on March 25, 2009. The ICRC and MSF hospitals in both villages are being run without a doctor, and limited medicine. The patients range from malnourished children, to a meningitis case to respiratory infection, to diarrhea, among other illnesses. The SLA blames the government for expelling the international organizations from their region. | Location: Kutrum, West Darfur, Sudan.
