Three-bladed wind turbines can be seen on the Biglow Canyon wind farm near the city of Portland, Oregon on Feb. 8, 2008. The Unites States has one of the fastest growing markets for wind power next to Germany. With the use of wind turbines, most wind power converts wind energy into electricity and, although wind presently produces only one percent of the world's electricity use, it's use has grown rapidly since 2000. One of the leading manufacturers of wind turbines in the market today is Vestas, with turbines in 60 countries.
