Chinas largest Ferris wheel starts trial operation in Tianjin
--FILE--Night view of Tianjin Eye Ferris wheel in Tianjin, China, 25 January 2009. Tianjins landmark Ferris wheel, Tianjin Eye, Sunday (5 April 2009) started its trial operation. Constructed on Yongle Bridge over the Haihe River (Hai River), Tianjin Eye is able to hold 384 persons in its 48 cars a time. The wheel with 110 meter diameter can lift people up to 120 meters above ground, as high as one 35-storey building, and offers a grand view of around 40 square kilometers over the city on clear days.
