Traditional Bullfighting in Switzerland

epa02722980 Cows fight during the traditional annual "Combats de Reines" (Battle of the Queens), a cow fight in Aproz, western Alpine canton of Valais, Switzerland, Sunday, 08 May 2011. The Valais is home to a unique breed of cows, the Herens also called Eringer cows. Members of this bovine family are very robust and possess the singular characteristic of fighting among themselves to establish a hierarchy within the herd. During the combat the cows simply push forehead against forehead. They also use their horns in different ways. EPA/JEAN-CHRISTOPHE BOTT
