A young man planks on a street in Shenyang, northeast Chinas Liaoning province, 1 June 2011. Planking, or the lying down game, is an activity where a participant lies face down in an unusual or incongruous spot, such as atop a washing machine, a sign or a railing, with both hands touching the sides of their body. An integral part of the game is having a photo taken and posted on the Internet. The game can relieve pressure and relax ones body, said one planker.
