Legion of Goodwill Temple, a seven-sided pyramid building with reportedly the world's largest crystal at its peak, helping to refocus and calibrate energy in those who visit the temple, Brasilia, Brazil, Sept. 22, 2010. Brasilia was inaugurated fifty years ago as Brazil's new capital, a city built from scratch on arid savannah in the almost geographic centre of the country. Conceived by architect Oscar Niemeyer and urban planner Lucio Costa, it remains one of the world's largest ready-made cities, and arguably the most controversial.
