Reports state that after a secret ballot, Italy's lower house rejected the arrest of, Economy Minister Giulio Tremonti's former aide, Marco Milanese, with 312 votes against compared with 305 votes for. A Naples judge in July 2011 filed a request to Parliament asking for approval to arrest Marco Milanese as part of a corruption investigation, over allegations that Marco Milanese allegedly passed on confidential information about a criminal investigation to a businessman in exchange for cash and gifts.
