China to launch Shenzhou VIII spacecraft in early November

A Long March 2F (CZ-2F) carrier rocket is being assembled in the final assembly and testing plant at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center near Jiuquan city, northwest Chinas Gansu province, 23 October 2011. China will launch the Shenzhou VIII (Shenzhou-8) spacecraft in early November at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. The spacecraft is expected to perform Chinas first space docking with Tiangong-1, or Heavenly Palace-1, a space lab module that was launched in September from the same launch center.
