Hundreds of people associated with pharmaceutical trade Thursday staged a demonstration in Indian-controlled Kashmir against the newly approved Drug Policy. As per the new law it will be mandatory for doctors to prescribe medicines on the basis of generic name but not the brand name given by pharmaceutical companies.
