Views of the old oasis/caravan town of Ghat, adjacent to the Algerian border, that was once a stop on the trans-Saharan slave trading route. The town is now largely abandoned, and is home to a few Nigerien immigrees who sell Touareg sovenirs to the occasional European tourists who manage to reach this far southwest corner of Libya.
