Queens, United States. 11th March 2012 -- Festival participants throw coloured dye (abrac) and powder in Smokey Oval Park as part of the Phagwah or Holi celebrations. -- Phagwah or Holi, an Indo-Caribbean festival, saw thousands of participants gather in Smokey Oval Park in Richmond Hill to throw coloured dye (abrac) and powder on each other to celebrate the onset of spring and chase away the winter grey.
