The Peace Bridge over the River Foyle, Derry City, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland
Derry's symbolic Peace Bridge over the River Foyle was opened in 2011. It provides pedestrian and cycle access from the predominately nationalist Cityside on the west bank to the largely unionist Waterside on the east bank. The multi-million-pound funding came from the European Union's Peace 111 programme.
