Woman tries to stop her house being demolished in S China
A demolition work team tears down buidlings at Yangji village in Guangzhou city, south Chinas Guangdong province, 21 March 2012. The second-phase demolition of Yangji village Wednesday (21 March 2012) began in Guangzhou city, south Chinas Guangdong province. It is said that 4 buildings which cover an area of 326.21 square meters will be demolished this time. Policemen and workers were busy at the scene. A woman who lived there tried to protect her house being destroyed. She said she was promised by some official that her house wouldnt be removed. The woman expected to be given enough compensation. However, the negotiation was not successful.
