Civitavecchia, Italy. 6th April 2012 -- Penitents take part in a Good Friday procession in Civitavecchia, 70km (43 miles) north of Rome, during Holy Week in Italy. -- In Civitavecchia, during the night of Good Friday, there is the tradition of the so called Processione del Cristo Morto *Procession of the Dead Christ). Its origin is obscure, some date it back to 889, others to the year 1000.
