Syria announced on 23 June 2012 the name of his new cabinet that has brought in 20 new ministers. The new cabinet includes two new ministries; the ministry for national reconciliation affairs, and the Ministry of Works. It combines two opposition figures, Ali Haidar, member of the People -want Party, and Qadri Jami. There is no change in key ministries, like the foreign, defense, and interior ministries.
