Fort Worth family farms doing well despite drought
Fort worth, United States. 23rd July 2012 -- Rain dependent corn crops have not fared well in the Fort Worth area. -- Heavy rains early in the year brought an end to the North Texas drought and it has been a boon to family farms with peaches, tomatoes and other early crops. With drought conditions returning, rain dependent crops such as corn have not done as well.
