According to media reports on 25 July, the United Nations refugee agency said that more than 120,000 Syrian refugees are now registered in Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and Iraq. Governments in those countries had said they were harbouring many more unregistered refugees, the UNHCR added, stressing that many of these displaced people were dependent on humanitarian aid and donations.
