Ramadan at Islamic boys school in Kathmandu

epa03331234 (01/25) Muslim schoolboy Mohamad Udin Sekh, aged 12, from Janakpur village in eastern Nepal, looks out of the window during the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan at the Jamia school in Kathmandu, Nepal, 25 July 2012. Around 30 students from within the country as well as from neighboring India are accommodated at the Islamic Jamia Gaushia Ahsanual Barkat boys' school, many of them coming from poor families. The fasting month of Ramadan is a testing time for the students who have to find the concentration to study on an empty stomach because they have to refrain from consuming food, drinking water and smoking.
