Ahar, Iran. 12th August 2012 -- Grieving friends and relatives mourn their dead, as bodies are laid out covered in blankets following an earthquake that hit Ahar, in northwest Iran, killing more than 300 people. -- An earthquake that struck Ahar, in northwest Iran has killed more than 300 people and injured a further 5000. Two quakes measuring magnitudes of 6.4 and 6.3 respectively, and separated by a gap of eleven minutes were recorded in the area.
