A night time view from below of the interior of the Monumento a la Revolucion (the Monument to the Revolution), also known as the Arch of the Revolution in Mexico City. The monument was designed by the architect Carlos Obregón Santacilia and the sculptor Oliverio Martinezis, and is located in Republic Square on Avenida Juarez in Mexico City. It was built between 1932 and 1938 to commemorate the revolutionary period of 1917 to 1929.
