Redwing Turdus iliacus
An adult feeding on cotoneaster berries. The redwing gets its name from its red flanks and underwings. A relatively small member of the thrush family it is a regular winter visitor to the UK and is often found in urban parks and gardens feeding on berry bearing bushes and trees.
