Sept. 29, 2012 - Fresno, CA, U.S. - A runner gets color bombed during the Color Me Rad 5K event held at Fresno's Woodward Park on Saturday, September 29, 2012. Assistant research director Heather Johnson said just under 6,000 people participated in the 9am run, in groups of 750 in waves every 5 minutes. A second 1pm race was added to accommodate another 2,500 entrants for the event which benefits the Ronald McDonald House of the Central Valley. Runners were bombed by colored cornstarch at four stations around the course with mass community color bombings held after the finish line. Color Me Rad was started April of 2012 with 45 races being held around the country for 2012, according to Johnson. (Credit Image: © The Fresno Bee)
