Protest in demand for the 33% Women's Reservation Bill
Dimapur, India. 1st October 2012 -- A woman holds a placard for a pending bill in India which proposes to amend the Constitution of India to reserve 33 per cent of all seats in the Lower house of Parliament of India, the Lok Sabha, and in all state legislative assemblies for women. -- Various Women organizations in the Indian eastern state of Nagaland demand a 33% women reservation bill in a protest rally which was held across the state. Nagaland will hold its general election early next year.
